Each kitten is guaranteed to be free from life-threatening congenital defects and hereditary diseases for a period of one year from the date of sale. This includes genetic conditions common to the breed such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), hip dysplasia, spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), and other inherited disorders. To minimize these risks, all breeding cats undergo extensive health testing and genetic screening before being approved for breeding, ensuring only healthy genetics are passed on.

Wellness Assurance and Veterinary Care
Every kitten receives a thorough veterinary examination before leaving my care. This includes age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite prevention, deworming, and a full health check to confirm they are healthy and thriving. Buyers receive complete veterinary records detailing all treatments and care provided. To uphold the guarantee, buyers must continue regular veterinary checkups and maintain the recommended vaccination and parasite prevention schedules. Prompt communication of any health concerns is required to enable early intervention and support.

Breeder Accountability and Support
I take full responsibility for the health of the kittens I place and am committed to supporting buyers throughout the guarantee period. Should a licensed veterinarian diagnose a life-threatening congenital or hereditary defect within the first year, I require detailed written documentation including diagnostic reports. Upon verification, I will collaborate with the buyer to determine the best course of action, which may include a replacement kitten of equal value or a refund of the purchase price. My goal is to ensure fairness and transparency in every situation.

Exclusions and Conditions
This guarantee does not cover illnesses or injuries resulting from accidents, neglect, improper care, or environmental factors after the kitten leaves my possession. Minor or treatable health issues that do not affect the kitten’s overall quality of life are also excluded. The guarantee becomes void if the kitten is bred without prior written consent or if the buyer fails to provide proper veterinary care and vaccinations. Additionally, the guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Lifetime Commitment and Return Policy
Beyond the one-year health guarantee, I offer lifelong support to every kitten buyer and encourage owners to reach out with any questions or concerns at any time. In the rare event that a buyer can no longer care for their kitten, I require the cat to be returned to me rather than rehomed elsewhere. This policy ensures the kitten’s continued safety and wellbeing.
